Educate your office staff
Your office staff is a critical source for identifying potential patients—they are the first point of contact for your patients. Make sure you educate them on all the services you provide—including the Essure procedure—and watch your practice grow. Your local representative can assist you in staff training.
Staff Meeting
Have an all-hands staff meeting to teach everyone about the Essure procedure. The goal is to communicate your vision of how the Essure procedure will fit into the practice.
Essure Patient Profile
Communicate the Essure patient profile to your entire staff using the Patient Selection and Counseling overview. Download a helpful guide here.
Essure Counselor
It is important to designate a specific staff member as the primary Essure counselor. This way, all other staff members can refer patients and questions to the resident expert. Discuss with the designated Essure counselor how you want questions answered (e.g. How many Essure procedures has the doctor performed?).
