Counseling or Referring?
If you are not interested in performing the Essure procedure but counsel patients on birth control and refer patients for sterilization we can provide you materials.
Do you:
- Provide contraceptive information to patients?
- Ask your patients if their family is now complete?
- Ask your patients if they have considered permanent birth control methods (tubal ligation or vasectomy)?
- Have patients that are unhappy with their current birth control method?
- Discuss non-hormonal birth control methods with your patients?
You may have patients in your practice who might be candidates for the Essure procedure. To assist you in counseling your patients, order the Permanent Birth Control (PBC) Counseling Kit
(request here).
The PBC Counseling Kit contains: a list of trained physicians (based on your mailing zip code), patient selection and counseling overview, pocket-sized counseling tool, short patient survey (25 per pad) and Essure procedure patient information pamphlet (25 per package).
